Come Visit Us
You’ve completed the application process, and we feel we’re a good fit. We will schedule some virtual introductions and conversations. We invite you to visit if we mutually decide to work together. We have rolling admissions and enroll members on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the year.
If you’re coming directly from home, wilderness, a program, or anywhere else and have not found an apartment, please ask us about the Guest House. Space permitting, you may be able to come directly to Portland, where we’ll work with you to find your apartment.
What to Expect
Getting Here
Portland, Maine, is a two-hour drive from Boston and a 45-minute flight from NYC. We have a small airport right outside of the city center. The airport is 10 minutes from downtown Portland and 12 minutes from us.
The Area
Portland is a little city with a world-class dining scene, magnificent art institutions, a vibrant art culture, and plenty of places to enjoy the scenic rocky coastline and lovely sandy beaches.
The Pine House
We want to provide guests with a natural “Pine House” experience while protecting our members from disruption in their daily programming. While visiting, you can expect to meet with key staff and encounter members as they are available.
