Portland, Maine

Where we call home

Welcome to Maine

Welcome to Maine! The Pine House is located across the Fore River from Portland's most historic district. The Old Port waterfront boasts working fishing wharves as well as converted warehouses which house various restaurants and shops. It's a wonderful place to call home.

A Bustling Working Waterfront

Maine is renowned for its seafood, with plenty of buoys, fishing boats, and lobster pots in sight. The history of the Maine shore is still alive, evident as you stroll downtown and along the coast. Mainers are proud of their heritage and love sharing it with anyone who visits.

A Renowned Food City

In 2018, Bon Appetite named this city the Restaurant City of the Year. It offers many dining options, from sushi served at food trucks on the Eastern Promenade to wood-fired pizzas, international cuisines, and James Beard-recognized restaurants. This coastal gem is also abundant in career opportunities and jobs.

A Welcoming and Inclusive City

OT is an inclusive organization that welcomes individuals of all genders. Our small coastal cosmopolitan city is proud to welcome members from all over the world and from all walks of life. With its vibrant arts culture and classic New England charm, our community members can develop a strong sense of belonging both within and outside our programming. Many of our members choose to stay in Portland even after their work with us is finished.
